Mr. Izumi Oi, the president & CEO of JEOL Ltd. gave a special lecture on the development & research of Scientific and Metrology instruments and possible academia-industry collaborations in this field. Mr. Oi showcased JEOL’s recent activates based on their corporate philosophy, “On the basis of “Creativity” and “Research and Development”, JEOL positively challenges he world’s highest technology, thus forever contributing to the progress in both Science and Human Society through its products.”, and their strategic collaborating approach “YOKOGUSHI”.

Mr. Oi has served as a visiting professor of the Division of Integrated Materials, ICME.
